What a great insight into your life Jack. Your acceptance of yourself will help you in life as you enter adulthood and realize there’s no end to trying to acquire those $300 shoes as it keeps going to cars, phones and diamond rings bling bling as the great theologian Jack Johnson sang from “Gone.” And what about our soul he asks, does it shine or are there things
that consume more of our time. We only have so many days God gave us on this earth and so those who actually look to more lasting things are not just “almost cool,” but are timelessly cool in my book.
I've always been homeschooled, I didn't know that cool vs not-cool/weird and being bullied for not being cool by the so-called cool kids was a real thing. I thought it was only in the books I read ;-;
this was a great post, and pretty much summed me up :) I've always been almost cool, too. not cool enough for the cool kids, not nerdy enough for the nerdy kids. so I pitched a tent on my little hill, named it after something obscure, and called it home
I nearly laughed out loud when I got to the shoe bit! I know so many people who are obsessed with Nike shoes and I can’t say I understand it. Nice post Jack!
it's a really easy process since you already have an account. there should be somewhere around your dashboard that says something like "start writing" or "create a publication". just click that and it'll walk you through simple steps on how to create a blog/newsletter, what to write about, how to gain an audience, etc etc. and it's completely free :)

As a nerd who always wanted to be "almost cool" I enjoyed this.

I thought that this was great!
I agree with youZ
Question, this is so random… I’m asking whoever sees this because I don’t know who to ask?
If I wanted to create a blog thing like this… how would I do that? Is it free?
How does it work?
so glad you asked! :D

So sorry, I ask lots of questions…
Is there a way to make it free? Make sure that no one can even have a chance to pay for something? I don’t know how it works…
I just want it to be free for everyone and that no one will pay for anything.
that's the default setting so don't sweat! :D
