Completely get not reading a ton of books, it’s happened to me so often (and just recently too haha). maybe a genre shift is needed? fantasy/scifi is AMAZING but maybe some other genre is needed. like a change of scenery yk?
mmm yeahhh defff i've been in the same place. i recommend tress of the emerald sea and yumi and the nightmare painter (both by brandon sanderson) for happy fantasy-they're both v good. also howl's moving castle, very iconic and adorable hehe. and homecoming by cynthia voight is a very bittersweet (yet happy) book; the ending oml its so good.
Reading three books is so real tho, this year has been insane so far, especially this month😭
I force myself to find time to read two hours every other day at least, and it does become almost like something I almost dread at this point, despite me enjoying some of the books, and I need to figure out a way to ease out of that.
Also, I so agree, Crazy Writing Week is so dang stressful its crazy lol 💀
heyyy that’s more than most people read in a month haha and some months just are slower 🤷♀️
